Around 95% of all new small businesses fail within the first two years. For some reason many people do not believe that, the same principle applies to blogs. Over half of all new blog start-ups are given up within the first three to four months. So with that in mind why do some blogs go on to be successful while others fail miserably? Being a highly productive blogger is an absolute essential if you are to stand any chance of your blogging business succeeding. Starting with lots of pent-up enthusiasm and writing four of five posts a day is very useful.
For niche such as Make Money Online, one post a day is good enough, or a minimum of 3-4 posts a week. The key here is to be consistent with your blogging frequency. However, if you then lose this enthusiasm and begin to slowly reduce the number of posts you are making until you are only providing new content once or twice a week is bound to end in disaster. If you are not confident that you can continue to provide new posts on a regular basis there is no point in even beginning a blogging business.
If you do not have sufficient time to dedicate to your blog they can never succeed, if you only have part of the necessary time available, you need to consider if you can afford to employ a blog content provider. If you are not passionate about the subject that you are blogging about, this will soon start to show in the quality and length of your blog posts. This lack of interest will soon manifest itself in low visitor numbers.
It is essential that you are enthusiastic about your chosen subject, not only for the first few weeks, but also on a permanent basis. If you are not enthusiastic and interested in the subject, your readers will soon start to realize that you lack commitment and drift away from your blog. The moment that your blog becomes a chore, and you stop looking forward to your next entry, that is the point where you will probably begin to fail in your blogging business.
Providing truly unique and original content can be a rewarding and stimulating. Totally original content also means that they cannot be read anywhere else; this in turn means that people can only find it on your blog. If there is nowhere else to read this interesting and original work then this should give you a high volume of traffic. You should also make note of what seems to interest your readers, if certain subjects simulate the most comments then those are perhaps the areas where you should concentrate a lot of your effort. Giving the people what they want has always been a sure fire way to business success.
